The Swedish artist and journalist Cecilia Nelson is showing her solo exhibition "The Guardians of The Temple" at Church of Sweden.

Using recycled materials in oversized sculptures Nelson engages in a carnivalesque dialogue inspired by various forms of folk art. The exhibition explores the human longing for protection against destructive forces, as seen in the tradition of having powerful beings watching over sacred as well as profane buildings all over the world.
