Summer is here and it's time to celebrate!
Many of us associate Swedish food with meatballs, gravlax, and briny shrimp. As summer arrives we think of new potatoes and dill. But no summertime menu or smörgåsbord is complete without pickled herring, and we aren't talking about your grandpa's pickled herring (although it is pretty tasty too)!
Learn how easy it is to vary the flavors and textures of pickled herring. We'll make a variety of canapés and after our inlagd sill feast we'll create a seasonal berry dessert perfect for serving at any midsommar party.
Menu to include: pickled herring at least three ways, and a seasonal berry dessert.
