The most expensive Beverly Hills home is now owned by Minecraft founder Markus Persson.
Minecraft, the hugely popular video game, was originally created by Swedish programmer and billionaire bachelor Markus Persson, 35. Persson’s success has brought him to the U.S., where he bought a house in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. The glass luxury villa has 23,000 square feet perched on a hilltop, eight bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, an infinity pool, a 16-car garage, private cinema and even a candy store. At $70 billion, it is the most ever paid for a house in Beverly Hills. Beyoncé and Jay-Z reportedly bid on the house but lost out to Persson.
