Bloomberg television anchor and author Betty Liu was the featured speaker at SACC-New York's second Tuesday Club of the fall season, held at Mother New York. In front of a packed crowd, Anna Herdenstam, a journalist and television host at Swedish TV4, interviewed Liu, who is best known for her morning news program, “In the Loop with Betty Liu.” Topics ranged from what it was like to switch careers in her 30s to how she handles the pressure of going one-on-one with the world’s most successful CEOs.

Before joining Bloomberg in 2007, she worked as a correspondent for CNBC Asia in Hong Kong. Her newest venture as a book author resulted in the 2013 publication of WorkSmarts: What CEOs Say You Need to Know to Get Ahead. “CEOs are like great athletes,” she said. “I wanted to ask them how they became who they are today.”
