The famous thin pancakes, just like they are made in the “Old World,” didn't disappoint another year of hungry attendees at Sveaborg Lodge #449's annual Swedish Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, June 6.

Many lodge members helped prepare the food, served at at the Odd Fellows Hall in Concord, California. They provided Swedish pancakes, lingon preserves, ham, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee. Head chef Larry Ard served the ham. Larry, a Martinez resident, is well known in Contra Costa from when he was Chief Deputy of the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department.
