Fun and food at Maine Swedish Colony's 139th Midsommar Celebration. Starting Friday 18, through Sunday 20 of June, 2010.

Birgitta Andersson Whited, soprano, from Hope Valley, R.I. will grace the stage at Thomas Park, New Sweden, Maine in the afternoon of June 19. Born in Sweden, she has performed with big bands, also as a classical singer and opera. There will be opportunity to sing-along with her in Swedish favoring local favorite hymns. This will be an outdoor performance and free to the public. An offering will be taken to help defray expenses.
