A lecture on Nobel Prize winner Harry Martinson by Dr. Lars Nordström as part of the Friday Night Lecture Series, sponsored by the Scandinavian Heritage Foundation (SHF) and Portland State University.
Dr. Nordström is the translator of selected poems by Harry Martinson, who was the co-winner for the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1974. In his lecture Dr. Nordström will discuss the life and writing of Martinson and his unique connection to Portland, Oregon.
Free and open to the public, followed by a reception. The lecture is held at Portland State University, Cramer Hall 171, 1721 SW Broadway, Portland, Oregon
