Come join us and try this traditional Swedish craft in which a braided cord is made with a lucet. The lucet is a tool shaped like a lyre that was used to make decorative cords as early as the Vikings. In this workshop, you will use a lucet to make a beaded bracelet. Once you learn, you can make cords for any use.
The workshop will be in the center at Holy Trinity ("Old Swedes") Church at 7th and Church Sts. Cost includes materials needed: $7.00 for non-members, $5.00 for members of the NSC or Old Swedes. Reservations required. Only 12 spaces available.
