In tribute to Raoul Wallenberg's humanitarian work, the Nordic Heritage Museum presents the Raoul Wallenberg Dinner, in partnership with the Washington State Jewish Historical Society, Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, the Washington State Holocaust Edcuation Resource Center and Skansea.
The event, initiated by Honorary Chair Washington State Senator Ken Jacobsen, is presented in honor of Swedish Diplomat Raoul Wallenberg and celebrates the connection between Jewish and Scandinavian communities. The featured keynote speaker, Wallenberg's grand-nephew Michael Wernstedt, has been instrumental in honoring Wallenberg and his legacy in the United States. The Swedish Ambassador, His Excellency Jonas Hafström, will introduce Mr. Wernstedt.
Tickets: $95 for Museum Members and co-sponsoring organizations; $125 for non-members.
