A Success in Sweden - The Glada Hudik-theatre Performs at BAM June 5
For one night only, A Tribute to Elvis, the story of Elvis Presley's life and musical career, is told through inspired performances — including many of Elvis' greatest hits — by a large cast of actors, dancers, and musicians who all face the world bravely, despite their individual challenges. From the recording of his first song That’s All Right (Mama) to his ascent to stardom, The Glada Hudik-theatre recounts Elvis’ life with humor, music and dance.
The Glada Hudik-Theatre’s mission is to promote awareness of mental disability and to promote, encourage and integrate mentally disabled actors with professional actors. The company has enjoyed great success in Sweden where over 120,000 people have seen the show.
