Trio Con Brio is a group of gifted musicians who were educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm. Its members are Carina Cederwall (flute and vocal), Jan Holmgren (oboe, English horn and vocal) and Stig Andersson (piano and vocal). The three have been performing together since 2001. The trio’s repertoire is wide-ranging, but on this tour through the American Midwest the group will play mostly folk music, well-known hymns and music by Scandinavian composers.
