'100 Years of Women’s Voices and Action in Finland' is an exhibition that celebrates women’s democratic rights in Finland, one of the world’s leading democracies in empowering women in the political arena.
The exhibition explores women’s suffrage, violence against women, women’s and children’s welfare, women’s reproductive rights, and women’s rights in the workplace

(RSVP to (206) 789-5707 ext. 10) The Deputy Speaker of the Finnish Parliament, Mrs. Tarja Filatov, will be keynote speaker, joined by Kirsti Westphalen, Consul General for Finland in Los Angeles; Leena Ruusuvuori, Director of the National Council of Women in Finland, and others.
