In conjunction with the current exhibition, Women's Work, Women's Dreams: A Century of Swedish Women's Arts," the Benton is hosting a Swedish celebration with a 5:15 lecture at 5:15 by University of Connecticut Art History Professor Jean Givens on "Making Modern Sweden and Swedish Modern Design," followed by traditional Swedish folk music performed by Nutmeg Spelmanslag. Doors open at 4:45 pm. Cash wine bar and refreshments
