Scandinavian knitted garments are famous for their distinctive pattern designs, but most people aren’t aware off the intricate relation between Scandinavian wool breeds, yarn production, and knitting techniques. This workshop will focus on examining the different wool types and explore a range of preparation and spinning techniques for each fiber, and then focus on techniques for yarn production for particular knitted garments.
