The stage is set for "Sagas and the Viking World," the Tenth Annual Nordic Spirit Symposium, at California Lutheran University, 60 West Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks, California, where, on February 6-7, 2009, nine scholars and performing artists from Scandinavia and the U.S. will gather to enlighten and entertain by casting light upon the beliefs, arts, and lifeways of the Viking Age and by showcasing, for a general audience, the gems of world literature, the Icelandic Sagas.
