Reflecting a refined combination of tradition and versatility, the Copenhagen Chamber Ensemble specializes in chamber, traditional, and new music. The group's members come from diverse musical backgrounds and hold numerous solo positions in leading Danish professional orchestras such as The Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Founded in 1978, the ensemble will perform works by Swedish composer Lillebror Söderlundh and Danish composers Erik Norby and John von Daler. Mixing old and new, classical baroque pieces by Vivaldi, Bach, Telemann, and Handel will be presented along with the contemporary pieces.
$15 ($10 ASF members)

A Musical Visit from Scandinavia is co-presented with the Danish American Society.
