Stephane Wrembel is a French-born jazz guitarist who tours internationally and has released multiple albums throughout his career. He composed and performed the original instrumental track Bistro Fada which was the theme song for Woody Allen’s 2011 film Midnight in Paris. It introduced Wrembel’s acoustic guitar work to a wider audience and became his most widely known composition.
Le Club du Sauna opened during the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki and often cited as potentially the first true nightclub in Finland. It was run by theater director Vivica Bandler with close friend and former lover of Bandler, artist Tove Jansson (of Moomin fame) was one of the key contributors to the club’s unique atmosphere and design.
