Anders Jonsson was born on 21 April 1835 at Bengtsstop, a crofter holding, near Kvibille (Halland) Sweden. He was the oldest for four surviving children of Jons Andersson and Martha Bengtsdottar. His siblings were Carl, Anna, and Bengt. He was the coachman for the Director of Wallenberg Fabric AB which was located on the Nissen River in Halmstad. You can see an oil painting at the Halmstad Museum of Storgatan--looking towards Norraport in which Anders Jonsson is driving the Director in his coach on a brick street with the old shops to the left and right. On the right is a shop of A. Andersson. This is the business eventually owned by John Andersson (grandfather to Gunilla Kinberger, Mikael Flurr, and Rigmor Berggen and others).
