The twice annual fried herring breakfast is now available to-go.
Herring has a long history in Swedish food traditions. It began as a poor mans staple and is now a loved part of the Christmas, Easter and Midsummer smörgåsbord. You may be most familiar with the many different kinds of pickled herring that are available at your grocery store but Swedes also likes their herring salted and pan fried.
Join us for a traditional fried herring breakfast which includes meatballs, potato sausage, and much more, catered by Tre Kronor Restaurant.
$30/Museum members, $40/non-members.
