In this class, you will be recreating a historically accurate, Swedish Smi knitted mitten based on Laura Ricketts' article in PieceWork magazine, written in collaboration with Erika Nordvall-Falck. Together, cast on and work through several aspects of The Red and the Black mitten, working small, geometric designs to form a sturdy, hardwearing hand garment.

Skill Level: Beginner-Intermediate

This is a two part class which takes place over two weekends on Zoom:

Saturday, January 29th, 3pm-5pm Pacific Time

Saturday, February 5th, 3pm-5pm Pacific Time
