Love can be so political—especially when you’re a politician! David Holst is the rock star of Sweden’s conservative political party. Major news networks and pre-election polls mark him as the easy victor for Prime Minister, due to his charm and popularity. But on the big night, David and his team sit with numb expressions in the face of a shocking defeat.

Two years later, with his popularity plummeting, David is clamoring to hold onto his career. Barely stumbling through each day, David’s life is turned upside down when he falls in love. The problem isn’t that he’s married, or that he’s in love with a man, but that his man plays for the other team, the Socialist Party.
