On Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011 the group The Vocal Vikings from Sweden will perform at the Swedish American Museum.

The Vocal Vikings is the oldest barbershop chorus in the Nordic region, celebrating its 30th birthday a couple years ago. Today the group is made up of about 40 singers. They will perform a mix of classic barbershop selections as well as folk songs, ballads, and pop music. They have participated in the annual Nordic Barbershop Chorus Championships, a competition they have won several times.

Cost: $15 members, $20 non-members. Light supper will be served. Reservations are recommended.
