SWEDISH SPOTLIGHT AT THE 13th ANNUAL NEWPORT BEACH FILM FESTIVAL; Mark your calendars now for the 13th annual Newport Beach Film Festival, April 26 through May 3. This highly-acclaimed festival brings together the best of food, film and fashion to Orange County.

One of the highly-anticipated cinema celebrations will be the 2012 Swedish Spotlight. This special evening will be an immersive celebration of Swedish culture and film hosted at Fashion Island on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

“We are very excited to celebrate Swedish and Scandinavian cinema at the 2012 film festival,” says Newport Beach Film Festival Executive Director and CEO Gregg Schwenk. Guests will view an exclusive showing of the Swedish film Ice Dragon and interact with the creative talent behind the film before indulging in a celebration of Swedish culture, at the 21+ post party, featuring an open bar sponsored by Absolut. A Swedish massage experience provided by Massage Heights Newport Beach will be one of many fun things to do and see at the event.
