This summer kids can explore the rich worlds of Scandinavian children’s literature and folklore in this stimulating and imaginative mini-camp led by Swede Malin Tybahl. Held three hours a day, Monday through Friday, for two weeks, the mini-camp encourages an open mind to exploration, creativity, and cultural immersion through drama games, arts and crafts, and language learning. Some aspects of Scandinavian language will be taught. The camp will end with a presentation by the participants, sharing what they have been working on over the course of the two weeks.

The instructor, Malin Tybahl, is a native of Sweden and is an experienced language and drama teacher. Tybahl has taught drama in both Sweden and New York for all ages – children as young as three years of age up to adults – for the past 15 years. She has also taught Swedish at NYU and privately since 2005.
