Welcome to this family-friendly exhibit, which tells a story of winter celebrations across the globe featuring Polish Christmas, Chinese New Year, St. Lucia, and much more at Trickster Gallery in Schaumburg running from Nov. 16, 2012 through Jan. 12, 2013! The exhibit, brought together through the Chicago Cultural Alliance and its member organizations, is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Attend the opening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16 where there will be food, music, and arts & crafts! Opening night is free of charge, but suggested donation and tour rates are $5 or $10 per family of 3 or more for other dates. Recommended for all ages.

On Saturday, Dec. 8 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. World’s Winter features a special program on family meals. Food and holidays go hand-in-hand. Why are family meals are so important? Join us for this special program to learn about and taste the Chinese, Native American, Ukrainian, and Swedish family dishes. Program is recommended for children ages 6+. Admission is $10 or $25 per family of 3 or more.
