Papercuts Fresh from the Garden with Sharyn Sowell: Inspired by the exhibition Scissors for a Brush? Join us for an afternoon introduction to the art of cutting paper. Led by Washington artist Sharyn Sowell, and taking its cue from the many images of nature in the exhibition, this workshop will give you the tools and confidence to create your own art out of cut paper.

Learn scissor techniques, tips for visualizing and crafting your piece, and much more. Sowell will also lead a walk-through of the exhibition and point out the different techniques on display in our galleries.

All the materials you need to get started will be provided, along with coffee and cookies.
