We R Able hosts a Santa Lucia celebration on December 13 from 5-7 p.m. with Twin Cities-based folk musician Art Bjorngjeld. The evening include hot chocolate and pepparkakor, a lucia parade, and each person will learn to make julgranskaramel. The location is the St. Croix River Education District building at 425 S. Dana Ave., Rush City. Pre-registration is needed. This activity is made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
