Textile designer Laurie Jacobi, whose work with Mary Jane Miller appears in the exhibition Dressing Swedish at the American Swedish Institue, will share her thoughts on what dressing Swedish means to a Swedish American. Jacobi, a graduate from the University of Illinois in Urbana/Champaign with a BFA in Graphic Design will also share her inspiration in designing clothing that expresses her Swedish roots. Jacobi works with Mary Jane Miller, who has a BA in Studio Arts and Art History from the University of Minnesota.

The program is included with museum admission.
