For the past seventeen years Dr. Fagerstrom has been the President or Secretary of the Swedish Genealogy Club of the American Swedish Historical Society in Philadelphia. He is also the author of A Beginners Guide to Swedish Genealogy. He has presented the program Beginning Scandinavian Genealogy at the Scanfest in Budd Lake, NJ for the last 16 years.
