The Swedish Christmas season begins with the observance of Santa Lucia Day and a celebration of light in the dark winter days. Lucia is crowned with candles and dressed in white. She is accompanied by attendants, each carrying a candle, as well as “star boys” carrying stars.

The Swedish Christmas season begins with the observance of Santa Lucia Day and a celebration of light as the Christmas season begins. Enjoy coffee and treats following the procession and program. We’ll dance around Christmas tree and Santa will be available to greet the children.
