That’s What a Princess Does/Så gör prinsessor Boulevardteatern.
11 am & 3 pm $7 ($5 ASF Members); Ages 4+

A fairy tale princess is often sweet and fair. Delightful and delicate she awaits her prince. But that’s not what Swedish author Per Gustavsson’s princess does. She goes against prejudices in an imaginative and refreshing way. Yes, her hair is yellow and her dress pink. And yes, she has thousands of shoes, dresses, and pieces of jewelry. But when she’s finished with her morning business and affairs of state, adventure awaits and hockey boys, hooligans, and dragons better look out!

That’s What a Princess Does, by Boulevardteatern in Stockholm, premiered in 2009. The show has been highly praised by critics and press, and has been performed over 500 times on tour in Sweden. It is based on Per Gustavsson’s picture book of the same title.
