Join us for this fun music event and welcome spring the Swedish way! Merula will perform songs ranging from 18th-century Sweden and the late American 50s to the Wailin’ Jennys, Europe and Avicii. There will be traditional and not-so-traditional spring and summer music, and maybe a drinking song or two.

Merula, consisting of 16 members, is a Swedish choir based in Chicago. The musical director, Göran Annér, is Swedish and he brings Scandinavian music as well as the unique Swedish sound to the choir. The group has previously performed at numerous Swedish events in both Chicago and Rockford.

Cost is $15 in advance or $20 at the door; $10 for children 10 and under; and free for kids under two years of age. Dinner is included in the price. Tickets can be bought online: http://www.swedishamericanmuseum.org/museuminfo/news/event/may-we-sing-to-you-again/
