Midsommarfest is Andersonville’s annual summer street festival, now entering its 49th year. Each year, nearly 50,000 people throng Clark Street from Foster to Catalpa for two days of music, dancing, kids’ entertainment, and delicious food. Vendors from around the region sell their wares to passers-by, while ethnic dance troupes and cutting-edge bands keep the party going.
The 49th annual Midsommarfest street festival will kick off on Friday evening, June 6 at 5 p.m. and run to 10 p.m.! The fun continues on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
We ask a $10 suggested donation for entry into the festival (kids under 12 and seniors over 65 are free) on Saturday and Sunday. The suggested donation for Friday night is only $5. This year, 15 percent of the gate proceeds for Midsommarfest will go to the Museum’s Water Tower Fund.
Note: The Museum is open regular hours only during Midsommarfest.
