Midsummer Celebration - Vasa Day

Connecticut Vasa Park & Scandinavian Heritage Center celebrates Midsummer with flag raising, parade and a raising of the Maypole at noon, June 22. Live entertainment, dancing around the Maypole and children's activities. A menu of a miniature Swedish Midsummer smörgåsbord will be available w/dessert and beverage for $13 (1:30 - 3:00 p.m.), also hot dogs, hamburgers and ice cream. |
