On Sunday, Sept. 14, Swedes will vote in national election that will determine which political party (or parties) will steer the country for the next four years. Join us for a panel discussion on Wednesday, Sept. 3 exploring the hot issues in the upcoming election and examining the stances of the parties involved. Panelists include campaign veterans and political consultants Kitty Kurth and Kevin Lampe of Kurth Lampe. Cost is $10 to attend; reservations can be made on the Museum's website (SwedishAmericanMuseum.org). Swedish hotdogs will be served traditional-style with mashed potatoes or “varmkorv med bröd och mos/halv special”—for the Swedish speakers out there.
