Sweden and Brooklyn have developed a special relationship. Scandinavian culture and cuisine have influenced Brooklyn, and many Swedes consider the New York City borough as a ”cool” place to live and work.
For entrepreneurs, Brooklyn is in many ways a different market compared to Manhattan. The artisanal vibe is evident in the borough, some even go as far as to call it a "creative renaissance."
What can we learn from this creative community, and where does its inspiration come from? Join the Entrepreneurs Club on November 18 when we return to the New York City borough for a panel discussion on “The Brooklyn Phenomenon” featuring successful entrepreneurs from various creative industries.
Speakers include:
Martin Adolfsson, advertising and editorial photographer
Patricia Ageheim, owner, Chez Moi
Moderator:
Ingrid Carozzi, founder and designer, Tin Can Studios
$30/members, $40/non-members - to be paid online, by check or any major credit card no later than noon on November 17 at www.saccny.org.
