Multimedia artist Tomas Colbengtson and muralist Stina Folkebrant discuss the arrival of Sámi reindeer herders to the Pacific Northwest and Alaska in the late 1890s as a source of inspiration for their latest collaboration, the special exhibition Mygration.
Note for Non-Members: admission to special exhibition must be purchased separately.
In a conversation moderated by the Museum’s Director of Collections, Exhibitions, and Programs Leslie Anne Anderson, the artists will also consider how their work explores the themes of migration, herd mentality, time, and forgotten past.
