Join Rick Steves for a special screening of his newest Public Television production, Rick Steves’ Iceland. This one-hour special begins in Reykjavík, with endearing sights and thermal pools, plus a side-trip to the Golden Circle's gorges, geysers, and waterfalls. Then, after fording rivers in a desolate valley and spotting puffins on volcano-shaped islands, we drive the 800-mile Ring Road — connecting glaciers, fjords, geothermal hotspots, sod-roofed settlements, and majestic Icelandic nature.

Rick and his co-author/co-host, Cameron Hewitt, will share some behind-the-camera stories of the production of the show and answer questions about travel in Iceland. A reception with Rick will begin at 5pm and include the opportunity to pick up an autographed copy of the newest edition of Rick and Cameron’s Iceland guidebook and explore the Museum before the screening.
