The Scandinavian Retreat offers lectures, discussions, films in Nordic languages, axe casting, spark sled races, weaving, wood carving and great homemade food prepared by our Nordic chef. College students and the general public attend from the Midwest for this event, which is over 40 years old.

Cost is $40 for room and board. Sleep in log cabins, and walk down the path to the elegant bath house. Some guests prefer to stay in a motel room in Eau Claire, WI, rather than walk that path to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
