Swedish trumpeter, cornet player and recording artist Oskar Stenmark invites you into a world of music and stories, dating back to 1762 when his family began playing in the traditional folk music scene. Melodies have been passed onto him from his grandmother, Elsie, who came to the U.S. on a tour with a group of fiddlers back in 1956. 70 years later, join us for an afternoon of music and footage from the tour, mixed with Oskar’s modern approach to folk, jazz and improvisation.
