Vaudeville with a Nordic accent returns to the Twin Cities ... and your'e invited!
In the early years of the 20th century, traveling vaudeville shows offered a little taste of home for newly-arrived immigrants from Sweden, Norway and other Scandinavian countries. Peter Holbrook's new musical, "Ole's Last Bow," recalls those days, with a story about the on- and off-stage antics of a Scandinavian vaudeville troupe teetering on the brink of disaster.
Inspired by the life of Olle i Skratthult, a popular Swedish-American vaudeville star, Ole's Last Bow features a variety of songs from the era, as well as a number of Holbrook's original compositions.
Only six Twin Cities performances are scheduled for Ole's world premiere "mini-tour," so reserve your tickets today ... this is one musical smörgåsbord you won't want to miss! Learn more at www.oleslastbow.com, and get ready to laugh, cheer and sing along!
