Swedish-American performers Marion Palm, poet/singer and Lennart Vretholm, composer/singer from Sunset Park, Brooklyn will be the featured artists at Kairos Poetry Cafe monthly show featuring a wide variety of artists.

The two artists will be performing separately and together songs that celebrate the season and their Swedish heritage. Both are fluent in Swedish and visit Sweden whenever they can.

All events are free and open to the public. A free will offering is accepted.

Marion Palm (a member of Barnklubban Lucia #2 from age 7-14), is the founding director of Poets Under Glass, Inc., an award winning writing consortium that most recently received a grant from Thrivent Financial to publish A Guidebook to Poetry Writing, available from Dog Ear Publications. A memoir, Alice's American Dream, about how her mother immigrated from Sweden as a bride was accepted into the Sutter Memorial Archive held at Wagner College in 2014.

Lennart Vretholm, a graduate of Gustatus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, who was confirmed at Gustavus in Manhattan, will play and sing songs he set to his own compositions. Vretholm is a frequent performer on the NYC readings circuit most recently appearing at the Cornelia Street Cafe.
