The Believers, a 31-voice gospel choir from Sweden’s far north, is touring in Wisconsin and Illinois. The choir’s Swedish name is Troendegruppen, which literally translated means “the group that believes.”
This choir comes from a music institute affiliated with the Luleå University of Technology - a world-class research and education school located about 190 miles south of the Arctic Circle in Sweden. Their concert at FELC will include classical choral music, hymns and spirituals. http://www.troendegruppen.com
The Believer’s 2015 tour in Wisconsin and Illinois is sponsored by Shepherd’s Canyon Retreat, Inc., an Arizona ministry which provides counseling retreats for men and women in full-time ministry who are in the midst of burnout, stress, depression, and conflicts of all kinds.
A free-will offering will be received to benefit this ministry.
This concert is sponsored by The Arthur Krempin School of Music & Art. Affiliated with First English Lutheran Church, this school exists to enrich life for people in the Fox Cities by connecting faith, music and art.
