See Stockholm like you've never seen the city before!

Did you know there are at least eight towns in the Unites States named Stockholm? Most of the towns are now sparsely populated, often desolate but beautiful resorts that do not have much in common with Stockholm in Sweden. Yet, they all pay homage to the great capital city in Sweden.

Come to ASHM this fall and discover the landscapes and people of each town when you visit our upcoming exhibition, “United Stockholms of America,” a large-format photography exhibition by Swedish photographer, Charlie Bennet, who beautifully documented the wildly varying degrees of Swedishness of the different Stockholms.

Join us for the opening of “United Stockholms of America” on September 13 at 4:30 p.m. Light refreshments served. The exhibition will be on view through February 28, 2016.

Don’t miss this extraordinary photo documentary series about the Swedes who stayed!
