Four years ago, local artist Justin Langenberg set out to create a series of Halloween illustrations featuring Chicago neighborhoods and their landmarks. Inspired by vintage travel posters, Langenberg created a series of posters featuring Logan Square, Wrigleyville, Bucktown and now Andersonville.

Langenberg’s depiction of the Andersonville Water Tower will be revealed to the public at the Swedish American Museum on Oct. 2, with a reception from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Langenberg has generously donated one of the posters to be auctioned off to benefit the Water Tower Fund.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
