Workshops and Performances: Marionettes march us through a day that includes puppet performance and demonstration and toy-making workshops. Marionetteatern, the Swedish-based puppet troupe, will bring marionettes to life and dazzle children of all ages with special performances at 12 and 2 p.m. And Brooklyn-based ConstructionKids will lead a toy-making workshop to help kids be more creative and share in the joy of building, revising, repairing and problem solving.
Marionetteatern is a Swedish theatre group that is part of the Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm. ConstructionKids introduces kids to a broad range of materials, tools and projects that are scaled for small hands.
