SWEA Los Angeles 36th Annual Christmas Fair will be held at Torrance Cultural Arts Center in Torrance.
The fair, popular with Scandinavians as well as with all nationalities, will feature fine artisans at booths presenting the best of Sweden offering fine art, books, jewelry, toys, Christmas collectibles, and much more. The top prize at the raffle this year is a round trip ticket, to one of these Scandinavian capitals, Oslo, Stockholm, or Copenhagen and is donated by Norwegian Airlines.

It showcases Swedish Crafts, Culture and Cuisine
Bring family and friends for a traditional Swedish Christmas lunch or "fika" (coffee break) with delicious home baked sweets. You can even enjoy an invigorating glass of hot glögg (mulled wine). Pick up cookies, handcraft and decorations for your holiday party and be entertained by folk dancers. The radiant Lucia pageant and her choir perform twice during the day, at noon and at 3 pm. This year’s celebrities who will officially crown or Lucia are Paul Ottoson, Oscar winner for film sound, and Martina Jones, Swedish model and daughter of jazz musician Quincy Jones. Make sure not to miss the Lucia pageant at 12:00 PM and 3 PM!
Children have their own fun corner where they can say hello to “Tomten”, the Swedish Santa and create their own crafts to take home. As always, there will be a raffle with a special grand prize.
Whether you are looking for unique Swedish Christmas gifts or home baked goods, this fair will set you in the mood for the Holidays!
