The Mostly Nordic Chamber Music Series and Smörgåsbord has entertained our guests for more than two decades. This collection of nationally and internationally acclaimed artists captures the magic of rarely heard masterpieces an provides a rare opportunity to sample the many moods of the Nordic landscape.

This month's concert: "Brooding Baltic Breezes" from FINLAND: The Kairos String Quartet

Innovative and versatile, the Kairos Quartet quartet-in-residence at Central Washington University since 1998; Violinists Carrie Rehkopf and Denise Dillenbeck, violist Timothy Betts, and cellist John Michel have toured internationally, seeking to break down the barriers between audience and performers. Program features global works of Sibelius String Quartet “Voces Intimae” and William Walton’s timeless String Quartet in A Minor.
