If you are an American citizen living in Sweden, and you want to participate in a Democratic presidential primary, a good option is to participate in the Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary.

All around Sweden, it?s now easier than ever for Democrats to cast their vote in person and online in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Primaries.

Democrats Abroad, the official arm of the Democratic Party outside the United States, has launched its Global Presidential Primary, which runs now until March 8, 2016. In Sweden, Democrats can either vote in person at voting locations in four cities or by remote ballot.

Absentee voting
To vote absentee in the Global Presidential Primary, the easiest way is by email. Members print and complete the ballot at democratsabroad.org/gpp, sign it, scan it, and send it to PrimaryVoting@democratsabroad.org. Voters can also mail or fax their ballot.

Who can vote?
Any Democrat living abroad who is a U.S. citizen and will be 18 by November 8, 2016, can participate. Voters must be a member of Democrats Abroad to be eligible. Joining is easy through democratsabroad.org/join or can be done in person at a voting location. Democrats can choose to either vote in the Global Presidential Primary or in their home state?s presidential primary, but not in both.
