Are there special symbols that direct your thoughts to Sweden and remind you of your interest in and/or connection to Sweden?

Is it the Three Crowns of Sweden, the Dala horse, the Swedish flag, ethnic costumes, Swedish Glassware … or something else? We’ll explore the significance of the “Symbols of Sweden” and how they direct our thoughts of our “Swedishness.”

If you have examples of any of these symbols, we invite you to bring them to share with our members and guests. We’ll have fun with a Jeopardy type game based on these symbols.

We’ll learn about Sweden’s Vĺffeldagen celebrated on March 25 and sample Swedish waffles at our coffee hour following the meeting.

Redemption Lutheran Church, 4057 North Mayfair Rd., is just north of Capitol Drive on what's also known as Hwy 100.
